About the Utah College Showcase

The fifth annual Utah College Showcase includes all-star games made up from Utah’s top senior soccer players who are NCAA Division I prospects. Players are nominated by high school and club coaches, then selected based on their athleticism, skill level, desire and overall ability to compete at the Division I level in college.

Two teams of 18 will be selected to showcase Utah’s Top 36 Division I prospects from all high school classifications (5A, 4A and 3A). All players selected to participate must have registered with the NCAA Clearinghouse or will forfeith their eligibility to participate in this event.

The event serves as a “last look” for NCAA Division I coaches as most schools have already narrowed their recruiting classes and may already have commitments from the high school class of 2005. We intend to showcase Utah’s talent and hopefully open some doors for the senior player who may be overlooked to this point.

The Utah College Showcase also serves as a “first look” for many college coaches at Utah’s junior class. The event will feature some of Utah’s top U17 teams.

In past years, the event has been fortunate enough to provide an initial recruiting venue which has led to several scholarship opportunities. Here a just a few of those players (click on name to view profile)
