What is the Celtic Storm Academy ?

The Celtic Storm Academy is a league and training program for our U8, U9 and U10 club members. Your daughter will train in the Fall and Spring on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-6:30 pm with a staff of Academy coaches. You will also be selected to play on an Academy team which competes in 8-10 matches each Fall and Spring. The Fall and Spring seasons conclude with a Celtic Storm Cup post-season tournament. All training and games are conducted at the same convenient location at our home training grounds in Orem. As part of your club membership we provide a summer camp and summer training for Academy members.

Most academy-aged players are admitted to the program, however in some cases we will recommend that a player continue with their recreation team and return to the academy in a future year if, in the opinion of the coaching staff, that player will become frustrated with the demands of our training program and match play.

Optional Academy Activities

You can add the Sparta Cup to your summer soccer activities and play with other girls from the Academy during the second week of August. You can also decide to play winter indoor futsal in the first November/December session, the second January/February session or both sessions. There is an additional registration fee beyond the Academy Registration for players who decide to add the Sparta Cup or the Winter Indoor Futsal to their yearly club soccer activities.

Carpooling

The entire Academy trains and plays their matches at the same hour to accommodate car pools from across the valley which makes getting to and from the training grounds easier on family schedules and softer on the gas pump budget.

Registration For Academy

At the Preliminary Player evaluation on May 27th please complete, and turn in player information form during the pre-evaluation photo shoot and registration.

During the final player evaluation on May 28th, our Academy administrators will process your registration. Please have the following paperwork completed and ready to turn in:

1. A copy of your daughter's certified birth certificate or a copy of a passport (new Academy players only)

2. Small wallet-size photo (all players)

3. Complete the US Club Soccer Player Registration and Medical Release Form

4. Check for Academy Fees made out to Celtic Storm Academy (see fee schedule below)

5. Complete the Equipment Order Form

Celtic Storm Academy Fees Due at Registration

The follow fees for Celtic Storm Academy are due at registration, Fees must be paid before we can register your daughter before she is admitted into the academy and can begin training and playing.
