Davis to Coach U16's

Jim Davis has agreed to take the reigns of the Celtic Storm U16 team for the 2005 season. Davis brings a wealth of coaching experience to the club. Davis has coached over 15 years including two years with ODP (Olympic Development Program), five years of club coaching with boys and another five years with girls. Davis also has coached both boys and girls in high school. Currently Davis is the head of Timpview High Schools girl's program. Davis has led the T-Birds to the final four each of the last four seasons along with a finals appearance in 2002. Under Davis, Timpview has won their region title six of his eight years at the helm. Under Davis, Timpview has become a perennial soccer power in Utah. Davis holds a United States Soccer Federation National "C" License.

President Robyn Bretzing is excited to have Davis on board. "I am very excited that Jim Davis has agreed to coach our U16 team. I have always been impressed with Jim's coaching style and I am excited to work with him. I know the players and parents will be thrilled to have him as their coach and leader! I am looking forward to great things from Jim and our U16 team this spring season."
