Katie Larkin playing in Sweden with U23 WNT

Storm Alum Katie Larkin will be in Sweden next week with the U23 National Team for the Nordic Cup. Larkin has been a starter for the U23's throughout the Spring in matches in the US, England and Germany producing a goal and three assists. Larkin is proving her worth at the National level after leading the NCAA in game-winning-goals in 2007

U18's and U19's in Hawaii for Far West Regionals next week
89 and 90 Premier will look for Regional success in paradise next week. In pool play, the 89's will face Cal South, WA and OR while the 90's face AK, Cal North and UT. Both will look to advance to quarterfinal play as both teams have regional experience. The last time Storm sent teams to Hawaii in 2003, both our U18's (85 Premier) and U16's (87 Premier) advanced to the quarterfinals.

State Champs!
Celtic 89's Repeat, headed to Hawaii
In the 2nd game of the best of three U19 series Jennifer Nielsen, Kassidy Christensen and Erin Marble scored in the first half as Storm cruised to a 3-0 win over Sparta on Thursday night. In the first game on Tuesday, Hailee DeYoung saved two penalty kicks to assure the win in a penalty kick shootout. Jennifer Nielsen and Lauren Hansen had scored in regulation in the 2-2 draw (4-2pk's)

Sweet 16's Advance to Final
Angelica Dickson scored both goals and Hilary Smith earned a shutout as 92 Premier beat Avalanche 2-0 in the semifinals Thursday night.

U18's Advance on PK's
Kirsten Anderson saved two penalty kicks as Storm got by Impact and advanced to the State Cup final for the third consecutive year. In regulation Jamie Lyons scored in the 1-1 draw (4-2 pk's).

CASHING IN! U15's and U14's Win Vegas Cup
Celtic Storms 93 Premier(U15) and 94 Premier(U14) won Vegas Cup Titles on Martin Luther King Jr Holiday. Three Storm teams advanced to the final. They were in Las Vegas for the holiday weekend tournament facing opponents from several states. Click on teams below to view results.

Celtic Storm 90 Premier's
Brianne Larson was named the Utah High School 4A MVP by the Salt Lake Tribune. Larson is the 11th Storm player to be named a Utah High School MVP.

Tamika Wilson's list of accomplishments at the University of Wyoming continues to grow as she was named the MWC Co-Offensive Player of the Year. Wilson led the conference in goals scored during league play with 5 as well as in points with 11 in 7 conference games. She finished the regular season with Wyoming's all-time leading single sesaon record of 11 goals. She is currently 2nd all-time with 19 career goals. Wilson is the first Wyoming player to be named conference player of the year. Following her 2 goal, 1 assist performance in Wyoming's 4-1 victory over Utah last weekend, Wilson was also named MWC offensive player of the week and became Wyomings first player ever to be named to the SoccerBuzz team of the week Congratulations Tamika!

Storm's Katie Larkin, Kelly Isleib and Kassidy Christensen were also named 1st Team 2007 All-Mountain West Conference
